KATHMANDU, DEC 22 -

Odyessey Zorostrism; a music event managing company which organised musical events such as Battle of the Bands, Rock Session, Metal session, Punk Session, Pokhara Blood N’ Sweat Metal, Kathmandu Blood N’ Sweat Metal, Samaj ko Kaidi Live Concert among many others; is hosting yet a another concert:

Rock Awaaz.

Rock Awaaz will feature legendary bands such as Mukti and Revival, The Edge, and Monkey Temple along with new and upcoming bands like White, Alt F4, Rock Sitar, Monkey Temple, Manual Transmission and Rock Smith. Besides the music, the vent will also have an art exhibition, inter-college social work and journalism photo competitions along with various food stalls.

The funds raised from the event will go to USHA which is a non-profit organisation that helps maginalised communities gain employment and aids their social and educational growth with the aim of guaranteeing them their financial rights. The funds will be used by USHA for organising free dental camps, cloth distribution programmes and for providing stationary items to Sundari Devi Lower Secondary School, Vyas Secondary School, Kamala Devi Lower Secondary School, Sudhari Devi Secondary School and Janta Secondary School which collectively cater to around 2,000 underprivileged children.

Rock Awaaz is being held at the Fun Park, Bhrikuti Mandap at Decmeber 24. Tickets for the concert are priced at Rs 150 a piece and are availiable at the venue.
